Three-acid AHA gel peel

The Platinum Fruit Acid Gel combines three alpha hydroxy acids in a precisely formulated gel peel at pH 3.2. The primary active is Glycolic Acid at 7.5% — the smallest AHA molecule and the most deeply penetrating exfoliant in this category. Combined with Lactic and Pyruvic Acid the formula provides layered exfoliation: Glycolic for deep cell-bond dissolution, Lactic for gentle surface resurfacing and hydration, and Pyruvic for renewal with antioxidant and sebum-regulating activity.

Why Pyruvic Acid?

Pyruvic Acid, an alpha-keto acid, is found in professional-grade clinic peels but is rare in consumer skincare. It enhances skin renewal beyond standard AHA exfoliation, supports cellular energy metabolism at the skin surface, and has documented anti-sebum properties beneficial for oily or blemish-prone skin.

Why pH 3.2 matters

Alpha hydroxy acids are only effective as exfoliants below pH 4.0. Above this they are partially neutralised and penetration is significantly reduced. At pH 3.2 this peel is fully active — in the same pH range as professional salon AHA treatments.

Application

How to use

  1. 01

    Apply an even layer to clean, dry skin.

  2. 02

    Leave on for 2–3 minutes (new users) or up to 10 minutes (experienced users). Do not leave on overnight.

  3. 03

    Rinse thoroughly with water. Pat dry. Follow with moisturiser.

  4. 04

    Use in the evening, 2–3 times per week. Always apply broad-spectrum SPF the following morning.

Mild tingling or warmth during application is normal at pH 3.2. If you experience discomfort, rinse immediately.
