Why it works
Formulated for: uneven texture, dullness, enlarged pores.
The smallest alpha hydroxy acid molecule, so it penetrates fastest and dissolves the bonds holding dull, dead cells to the surface. Delivered from a 10.7% charge of 70% glycolic solution for a true 7.49% in the finished gel.
Lactic Acid resurfaces the very surface while acting as a humectant; Pyruvic Acid converts to lactic acid in the skin and helps refine sebum and pore appearance. Together they round out the acid profile of the mask.
0.7% Sodium Hydroxide partially neutralises the free acid, raising the pH into a tolerable corrective range. You keep the resurfacing power of 7.5% acid with far less of the raw burn of an unbuffered peel.
Xanthan Gum at 1% builds a clear, cushioned gel that stays exactly where you place it for the full contact time, then rinses away cleanly with water.

Liquid Platinum is a rinse-off fruit acid gel carrying 7.5% total acid: Glycolic Acid at 7.49% as the primary exfoliant, supported by trace Lactic and Pyruvic Acid. It lifts the layer of dull, dead cells that flattens the complexion, softens the look of fine lines and leaves the genuine post-facial clarity of a professional resurfacing treatment.
An unbuffered 7.5% glycolic gel stings hard and is easy to overuse. Buffering with Sodium Hydroxide lifts the pH into a corrective — rather than aggressive — range, so the acid still resurfaces effectively but skin tolerates a 2–3x weekly rhythm instead of an occasional harsh peel.
The xanthan gel base holds the acid in even contact with the skin for a controlled 2–10 minutes, then rinses away completely. That contact-time control is what lets you build gradually: two minutes to start, longer as your skin adapts.
Application
Apply an even layer to clean, dry skin in the evening — avoid the eye area and lips.
Leave on for 2–3 minutes (new users) or up to 10 minutes (experienced users). Do not leave on overnight.
Rinse thoroughly with water. Pat dry. Follow with moisturiser.
Use 2–3 times per week. Always apply broad-spectrum SPF the following morning.
