Perfluorodecalin is a medical-grade oxygen carrier: it holds and releases oxygen directly at the skin surface. Male skin under shaving, sun and short nights is oxygen-starved and dull. Glycerin at 5% neat plus a further 0.3% from the emulsifier system draws water into the upper layers and keeps it there. Skin reads plumper within minutes, which is what visibly softens fine lines and expression creases across the forehead and around the eyes.
